1 JOHN 2:15  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

ROMANS 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

JAMES 4:4,10  4 … whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

1 JOHN 5:19-20  19 …the whole world lieth in wickedness. 20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
