WHO ARE GOD’S CHILDREN?

HEBREWS 4:4,10    4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

REVELATION 18:4   And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

EXODUS 19:5   Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

JOHN 8:31-32   31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free

2 JOHN 1:9   Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

REVELATION 12:17   And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

HEBREWS 12:5-6   5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

HEBREWS 8:10   For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

EZEKIEL 44:23-24   23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. 24 And in controversy they shall stand in judgment; and they shall judge it according to my judgments: and they shall keep my laws and my statutes in all mine assemblies; and they shall hallow my sabbaths.

TITUS 2:13-14   13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

1 PETER 2:9   But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

REVELATION 14:12   Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

JOHN 14:6   Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

GOD IS LISTENING

PSALM 27:14   Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

PSALM 4:3   But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

MATTHEW 6:6   But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6   Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

PSALM 55:17   Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

JOHN 14:14   If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.   

MARK 11:24-25   24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

ROMANS 8:26   Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

1 PETER 4:7   But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

1 PETER 5:7   Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

MATTHEW 14:23   And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

THE LIGHT THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING

JOHN 12:46   I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

PSALM 119:105   NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

JOHN 12:35-36   35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. 36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

JOHN 8:12   Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

1 JOHN 1:7-9   7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

JOHN 3:19,21   19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

PROVERBS 6:23   For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

PROVERBS 4:18   But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

OUR SALVATION IS TOTAL TRUST AND DEPENDENCE UPON JESUS

1 PETER 5:7   Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

PSALM 91:9-11   9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

PSALM 37:3   Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

1 JOHN 5:4   For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith

HEBREWS 11:1,6   1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

ROMANS 5:1   Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

ROMANS 10:17   So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

EPHESIANS 6:16   Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

PROVERBS 29:25   The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

HEBREWS 12:2   Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS READY TO CHANGE US

ROMANS 8:5-14   5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.                              

JOHN 3:3-5   3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

MATTHEW 18:3   And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

ACTS 3:19   Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

ROMANS 6:6   Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:17   Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

COLOSSIANS 3:1,10   1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

PSALM 51:10-12   10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

EZEKIEL 36:26-27   26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

WHY IS JESUS THE ONLY ONE THAT COULD SAVE US?

JOHN 1:1-3,14   1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

EPHESIANS 3:9   And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

HEBREWS 1:1-2   1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

GENESIS 1:26   And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

1 CORINTHIANS 8:6   But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

JOHN 3:16   For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

MATTHEW 1:21-23   21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:21   For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

COLOSSIANS 1:14-17   14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

PROTECTORS SENT FROM HEAVEN

PSALM 103:20   Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

HEBREWS 1:13-14   13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

HEBREWS 13:2   Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

PSALM 68:17   The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

HEBREWS 12:22   But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

LUKE 15:10   Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

JOHN 14:14-16   14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

ACTS 2:17   And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

ACTS 5:32   And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.

1 CORINTHIANS 2:12-13   12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

LUKE 10:17,19   17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

LUKE 12:11-12   11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: 12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

EZEKIEL 36:27   And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

EPHESIANS 4:30   And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

HOW EASY IS SALVATION?

JOHN 1:12   But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

JOHN 3:16   For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

EPHESIANS 2:8-9   8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

1 JOHN 5:11   And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son
