THE POWER OF THE WORD OF GOD

JAMES 1:21-22 21 …. receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

EPHESIANS 1:13 …. the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

MATTHEW 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

LUKE 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, ….

JOHN 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

JOHN 8:31-32 31 …. If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

PRAY FOR THE WISDOM FROM GOD

JAMES 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

ECCLESIASTES 2:26  For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: ….

1 JOHN 3:22  And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

PROVERBS 16:16  How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!

1 CORINTHIANS 3:19  For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. ….

PROVERBS 23:4  …. cease from thine own wisdom.

COLOSSIANS 1:9-10  9 …. pray …. that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, ….

GRACE FOR ALL PEOPLE

HEBREWS 13:25  Grace be with you all. Amen. ….

EPHESIANS 2:8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

2 CORINTHIANS 9:15  Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

ROMANS 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

ROMANS 5:15 ….  is the free gift. …. which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

TITUS 2:11  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, that being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”

TITUS 3:5-7  5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us,  ….

7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

1 CORINTHIANS 6:11  …. ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

REVELATION 1:5  …. Jesus Christ, …. that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

RECEIVE JESUS, GOOD WORKS WILL FOLLOW

HEBREWS 13:20-21  20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, …. 21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; ….

EPHESIANS 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

COLOSSIANS 1:10  …. walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

1 TIMOTHY 6:17-18  17 …. trust in …. the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;  18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ….

JAMES 1:25  But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

JOHN 14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

TIME FOR SOME PRAISE

HEBREWS 13:15  …. let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips ….

JONAH 2:9  But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; …. Salvation is of the LORD.

HOSEA 14:2  Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

PSALM 50:23  Whoso offereth praise glorifieth …. God.

REVELATION 4:9,11   9 …. Thou art worthy  11  …. Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

REVELATION 5:13  …. Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.                    REVELATION 22:17  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

JESUS DOESN’T CHANGE

HEBREWS 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

REVELATION 22:18-19  18 ….  If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

DEUTERONOMY 4:2  Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

GOD WILL NEVER LEAVE US

HEBREWS 13:5-6  …. I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 …. The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

JOSHUA 1:5-6  5 …. I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 6 Be strong and of a good courage: ….

2 CHRONICLES 15:2  …. The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

MATTHEW 28:20  …. , lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

JOHN 14:16-17  16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 …. he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

MATTHEW 1:23  …. they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

ANGELS ALL AROUND US

HEBREWS 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

PSALMS 103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word

PSALMS 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

HEBREWS 1:13-14 13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?

14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?

15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

TIME TO SHOW SOME LOVE

HEBREWS 13:1  Let brotherly love continue.

PETER 1:22  …. love one another with a pure heart fervently:

1 JOHN 4:811  8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

MARK 12:30-31  30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.  31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

1 JOHN 4:7  ….  let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 JOHN 4:16  …. he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”
