RECEIVED YOUR INHERITANCE?

1 PETER 1:4  To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

2 TIMOTHY 4:8  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, … shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

JOHN 14:1-2  1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

HEBREWS 9:15  … , they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

SHARE THE GOSPEL AND HELP SAVE SOME

HEALING TIME

JAMES 5:14-15  14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

MARK 6:13  And they … anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.

DEUTERONOMY 7:11,15  11 Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee … 15 And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, … but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

EXODUS 23:25  And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

TIME TO BE HUMBLE

JAMES 4:10  Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

LUKE 18:14  …. every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

1 PETER 5:6  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

TURN TO CHRIST, RESIST THE DEVIL

JAMES 4:7-8  7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.

EPHESIANS 6:11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

EPHESIANS 4:26-27  26 …. let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27 Neither give place to the devil.

THE WORLD OR GRACE?

JAMES 4:4…. whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1 JOHN 2:15  …. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

MARK 4:19  And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful

2 CORINTHIANS 4:4  …. the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, …. should shine unto them.

EPHESIANS 2:2,8  2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:  8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

HOW TO ASK AND RECEIVE?

JAMES 4:3  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

1 JOHN 3:22  And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

JAMES 1:5-7  5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

LUKE 11:9  And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

JOHN 14:14  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

1 JOHN 5:14-15 14  And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15  And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

LORD GUIDE MY TONGUE

JAMES 3:6,8  6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, …. 8 …. the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

PROVERBS 16:27  An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.

1 PETER 3:10  For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

PROVERBS 21:23  Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

PROVERBS 18:21  Death and life are in the power of the tongue: ….

PHILIPPIANS 2:11,13  11 …. every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

THE LAW POINTS US TO JESUS

JAMES 2:10,12  10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

JAMES 1:25  But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, …. shall be blessed in his deed.

ROMANS 7:12,14  12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

ROMANS 8:7,8,14  7 …. the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

GALATIANS 3:24,26  24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 26 ….  ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

JOHN 14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.

NOT OF WORKS, JUST GOOD SENSE

JAMES 1:27  Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

1 JOHN 2:15  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

ROMANS 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God
