WHERE DO WE GO WHEN WE HAVE A NEED?

2 TIMOTHY 3:15-17   15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

JOHN 17:17   Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

PSALM 119:9,11   9 BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. 11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

PSALM 119:105   NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

1 PETER 5:6-7   6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

HEBREWS 4:12   For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

WHO IS THE JUDGE IN THE GREAT JUDGMENT?

WHICH DAY IS THE TRUE SABBATH?

GENESIS 2:1-3   1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

EXODUS 20:8-11   8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

LUKE 4:16   And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

MATTHEW 12:8   For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

MARK 2:27-28   27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: 28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

EZEKIEL 20:12   Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.

1 JOHN 2:3-4   3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 JOHN 5:2-3   2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

HOW COOL IS HEAVEN AND THE NEW EARTH?

PSALM 16:11   Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

REVELATION 21:1-4   1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

1 CORINTHIANS 2:9   But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

MATTHEW 5:5   Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

REVELATION 22:17,20   17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

HOW HOT IS HELL?

2 PETER 3:10-14   10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

ROMANS 6:23   For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

JOHN 3:16   For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

JUDE 1:7   Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

2 PETER 2:6   And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

REVELATION 20:9   And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

PSALM 37:10,20   10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. 20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

MATTHEW 10:28   And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

NAHUM 1:9   What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.

REVELATION 20:14-15   14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

A GREAT EVENT ABOUT TO HAPPEN

1THESSALONIANS 4:16-17   16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

TITUS 2:13   Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

HEBREWS 9:28   So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

REVELATION 1:7   Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

MATTHEW 24:44   Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

JOHN 14:1-6   1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

GRACE GIVES POWER TO OBEY

JOHN 1:12   But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

TITUS 2:11   For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

GENESIS 6:8   But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

EXODUS 33:12   And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.

ROMANS 6:14-15   14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

1 JOHN 2:3-4   3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.                                   

HEBREWS 8:10   For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

JOHN 15:10   If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

MATTHEW 7:21   Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

REVELATION 22:14   Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

REVELATION 14:12   Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

ACTS 5:29   Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

1 JOHN 3:4   Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

1 JOHN 1:9   If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

ECCLESIASTES 12:13   Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

JOHN 14:15   If ye love me, keep my commandments.

WHY ARE SO MANY PEOPLE IN NEED OF MONEY?

MALACHI 3:8-9   8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

DEUTERONOMY 8:18   But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

LUKE 12:34   For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

PSALM 24:1   (A Psalm of David.) The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

PSALM 96:8   Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

2 CORINTHIANS 9:7  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

TRY GOD’S FINANCIAL PLAN 

MALACHI 3:8-10   8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

GENESIS 28:22   And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

HEBREWS 4:16   Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST, RELIGIOUS, POLITICAL, OR BOTH?    

REVELATION 14:9-12   9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

REVELATION 15:2   And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

REVELATION 16:12   And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

REVELATION 13:7-8   7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

REVELATION 13:16-18   16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

EXODUS 13:9   And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD’S law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.

DANIEL 7:23-25   23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. 24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

JOHN 14:6   Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

IF SAVED BY GRACE, DOES THAT CANCEL OUT THE 10 COMMANDMENTS?

TITUS 2:11   For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

ROMANS 5:20   Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

EPHESIANS 2:8-9   8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

DO WE KNOW WHAT OUR SPIRITUAL GIFTS ARE?

1 CORINTHIANS 12:1,4   1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. 4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

1 THESSALONIANS 5:18-23   18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19 Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophesyings. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

ROMANS 1:11   For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

ROMANS 6:23   For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 CORINTHIANS 7:7   For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.

1 CORINTHIANS 14:1,12   1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. 12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.

1 TIMOTHY 4:14   Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

ACTS 2:38   Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

IS BAPTISM IMPORTANT AND WHY?

MARK 16:15-16   15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

ACTS 22:16   And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

MATTHEW 28:19   Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

NAME SOME THINGS THAT PROVE WE ARE NOT TRUE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS

EZEKIEL 22:26   Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

WHY DOES GOD CALL CERTAIN PEOPLE HIS CHILDREN?

EPHESIANS 5:8   For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
