STUDY THE WORD AND SHARE

1 PETER 3:15  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

COLOSSIANS 4:6  Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

1 THESSALONIANS 2:19-20  19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? 20 For ye are our glory and joy.

JAMES 5:20  Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

1 TIMOTHY 4:13-16  13 … give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.. 15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

CONVERSION ANYONE?

1 PETER 1:23  Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1 JOHN 2:28-29  28 And now, little children, abide in him; … 29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

JOHN 3:3  … Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

ROMANS 6:4,6  4 … that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

MATTHEW 18:3  … Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

PSALM 51:10,12  10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

RECEIVED YOUR INHERITANCE?

1 PETER 1:4  To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

2 TIMOTHY 4:8  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, … shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

JOHN 14:1-2  1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

HEBREWS 9:15  … , they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

COLOSSIANS 3:24  Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

1 JOHN 2:17  And the world passeth away, … but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

GALATIANS 6:7  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

THE MASTERS PROMISE

This too will pass I hear my Saviour’s voice say alas.

THROUGH TEARS OF PAIN LOOK TO THE LIGHT,T

WILL YOU TRUST ME WHEREVER YOU SHOULD GO?

FOR I SHALL NEVER FORSAKE THE SHEEP IN MY FOLD,

IF IT WERE NOT TRUE, I WOULD HAVE TOLD YOU SO.

YOU NEVER THOUGHT YOU WOULD FEEL THIS WAY,

BUT YOU SHALL OVERCOME THIS TOO, TO BE WITH ME ONE DAY.

ROMANS 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

SHADOWS

What do I see, what can it possibly be?

Day is passing, night closing in, the bell tis about ready to ring.

Day is gone, night is falling, our Lord is calling. A new day upon us is dawning.

Look at the hourglass, how the sand falls so steadily! 

With the lower half now almost full, not much on top to see.

Does each grain measured consist of days, months, or years?

All I know is that the time of Jesus return is ever drawing near.

Are our houses in order, our scruples proper, tidy, and washed?

Have we done as instructed by our Lord as to counting the cost?

We must this day ask forgiveness of any wrongdoing on our part.

Believing God will answer our prayer for a clean and new loving heart.

Father, thank you for another day of life on this earth here which we live,

A crown we desire, that when gathered in heaven, to our God we can give.

God’s love so amazing one cannot begin to measure length, width, not depth.

Let all the saints sing on high Gods praises loud and strong with our every breath.

BIBLE VERSES FOR TODAY  :  HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND

The saddest Sabbath in history. It is the 2nd day “And the women also, which came with Him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the tomb, and how His body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.”

Jesus is dead, He is resting on the Sabbath in the tomb, 2nd day.

GENESIS 2:2-3  2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: …

LUKE 4:16  And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read

NOTICE THE EVENTS, AT CREATION JESUS RESTED ON THE SABBATH. WHEN HE WALKED ON THE EARTH JESUS KEPT THE SABBATH. WHEN HE DIED ON THE CROSS JESUS KEPT THE SABBATH. WHEN WE GET HEAVEN WE WILL KEEP THE SABBATH.

ISAIAH 66: 22-23  22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

MARK 2:27-28  27 … The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
