FRAGILE, HANDLE WITH KID GLOVES ONLY
Have you or someone who know every been tempted to leave the church? Either for “just a few weeks” up to and possibly as far as “permanently”? Our Bible we use as the guide for our lives tells us to confess our sins. I confess, I have considered following through with the above-mentioned temptation. Temptation in and of itself is NOT a sin. We know Satan tried to tempt our Lord Jesus Christ. But, who, what, where, how, why, and how long we let Satan’s temptations affect us can be extremely sinful.
Why do the trials and temptations of life, which I refer to as T&T’s, have to come our way? I have my own answers why I feel they should not be at the doorstep of my life. But I know that none of my own answers hold water, sort to speak. But the Living Water of Life does have answers, and they are perfectly correct. I believe the Bible when it lets us know life’s T&Ts are necessary for our spiritual and mental growth, for our wellbeing. The one certainly affects the other. We must be possessors of the virtues of Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, and Temperance in order to share them with others. These things are not easily obtained. We have to have our original earthly vessel changed from inside out. The master physician has to do work miracles in our lives, and transform our moral natures into works of art. Our lives must reflect the Shekinah, the glory, of God from within our being. We must be willing and ready to yield to his touch. Our character must become as his. There are lots of changes needing to be made in my life, maybe you feel that same way.
I do not like the exertion I experience when my spirit is being exercised. But I thank God for the trials and tribulations none the less, each and every one of them. For my T&T’s in this life I know have made me a better Christian today. You might be thinking, what in the world were you like before, if this is all the further you have come today? It is obvious perfection in my life has “NOT” occurred. I am often disappointed in my own progress to the point of discouragement. But God lifts me up, My God is soooooo good and faithful. He walks with me through hills and valleys of my life. I believe he does the same for all of us.
I am running the race of my life, a marathon. I cannot afford nor do I desire, to quit, I MUST NOT QUIT. Salvation is free, but there is cost, and we are instructed to count the cost. Jesus paid for our sins with his life, I must be willing to carry my cross and die to self. I must choose whom I will serve. The Bible says so; we are not our own masters. I can ‘will’ my life to God, to do his will by picking up and carrying my cross daily, be a living testimony to the love of God in my life. Or I can walk away from the cross that is mine to carry, live for self, thereby doing the bidding of Lucifer’s. Whomever I love my heart will follow, thereby determining my own eternal destiny. God is not willing that any should perish. I must not lose out on the chance of a lifetime, and I am speaking in terms of eternity, not our present earth time as we now are in. How can I just up and drop out of what some refer to as the “rat race”? And it is in certain respects just that. The human race daily can be found to be “hurling” themselves forward to catch the “golden ring” before leaving this world. Problem is, we “Ain’t Goanna Take It With Us” when this life we now live on planet earth ends. Only our good deeds, gold nor anything else, can pass through the fire to survive.
During our time on earth, we can only see in part what the other is going through. Help us to be tolerant and loving towards one another, forgiving of one another’s faults and shortcomings. Keep our home and church family together throughout eternity; Show us what we must do in order to support our brother and sisters in Christ, as well as those whom do not know you at present. Help us live lives that shine God’s light to guide those we meet onward on the straight and narrow road. Keep our hearts ready daily, all the day long, that your Holy Spirit be enabled to have His way in our life. That we do not faint nor falter in the days ahead in this our life. Lord help our footsteps trod the straight and narrow path to thy loving arms at roads end.
I did not get the name Sharon Rose for nothing; I came into this world loaded with thorns! I believe God knew I needed my name, to remind me I am a thorn in the garden of life, but by God’s grace I have opportunity to become a rose fit to reside in the kingdom of heaven with my heavenly Father. I see others around me whose stems have thorns as well, with the sweetest and most beautiful smelling rosebuds on them; they are my sisters and brothers. I love each and every one of them. And I hope that they might call me their little rosebud too. Jesus, the Rose of Sharon, the Lily of the Valley, sees each and every one of his children as being more beautiful than all our words together could ever think to say. God wants you and I to be sisters and brothers in Jesus Christ, to be part of the family of God for an eternity.
We must take care to handle others with the love of Jesus Christ. Our touch must be one as loving and tender as a lamb, with the touch of kid gloves.
Christ in us—living His life in us—by His Spirit.

MATTHEW 28:19-20 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
1 CORINTHIANS 9:16-17 16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! 17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.

How to Become New
HOW TO BECOME NEW
JOHN 3:3-5 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
JOHN 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
PSALM 51:10-12 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
ACTS 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
COLOSSIANS 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
ROMANS 8:6-14 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

1 CORINTHIANS 6:19-20 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1 JOHN 1:7-9 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
EPHESIANS 2:8-9 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
REVELATION 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Jesus Is Fully God
JESUS IS FULLY GOD
JOHN 1:1-14 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
JOHN 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
MATTHEW 1:21-23 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
COLOSSIANS 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
1 JOHN 5:6-8 6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
HEBREWS 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
COLOSSIANS 1:14-17 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
