ANGELS ALL AROUND US

HEBREWS 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

PSALMS 103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word

PSALMS 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

HEBREWS 1:13-14 13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

HEBREWS 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

PSALMS 68:17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: ….

MATTHEW 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

REVELATION 5:11 …. I heard the voice of many angels …. and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

MALACI 3

1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.

2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

7 Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?

8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?

14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?

15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

GALATIANS 6:7  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

TIME TO SHOW SOME LOVE

HEBREWS 13:1  Let brotherly love continue.

PETER 1:22  …. love one another with a pure heart fervently:

1 JOHN 4:811  8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

MARK 12:30-31  30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.  31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

1 JOHN 4:7  ….  let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 JOHN 4:16  …. he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”

SPANKING ANYONE?

HEBREWS 12:5-6  5 … My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, …

REVELATION 3:19  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: …

chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

PSALM 94:12  Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

2 THESSALONIANS 2:16-17  16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

LOOK AND TRUST

HEBREWS 12:2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; …

TITUS 2:13  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

ISAIAH 45:22  Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

NAHUM 1:7  The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

MICAH 7:19  … he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

PSALM 91:2   I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

WHERE IS MY HOME?

HEBREWS 11:10,16  10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 16 … desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

JOHN 14:2  In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

HEBREWS 12:22  …  come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, …,

EPHESIANS 2:19  … ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

ROMANS 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

GALATIANS 3:26,29  26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs …

COLOSSIANS 3:1-2  1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

ANY FAITH OUT THERE?

HEBREWS 11:1,6  1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

ROMANS 5:1  Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

ROMANS 10:17  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

PROVERBS 29:25  The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.

PSALM 37:3  Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

1 PETER 5:7  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

MARK 11:22  A nd Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God

LUKE 18:8  …when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

LUKE 8:25  And he said unto them, Where is your faith? …

YE MUST BELIEVE

Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge

I will heed your word praying not to turn to folly

Thy grace alone can make this heart to change

Should I not obtain, tis but myself I must blame.

Lord, I want confidence, truly indeed I truly do

Lord, but not in and of myself, but rather in you

My skills and knowledge are lacking at my best

Wisdom from you I seek to obtain, nothing less
