THE GIFT OF A FRIEND<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each time I came to your home to visit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There we would sit and pass the time<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You made me feel like family indeed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, so many memories, so very divine.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You would smile and laugh so sweet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lightening my day as we talked together<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your gentle nature shown in your eyes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, we were two birds of a feather<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were like children happy as can be<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With no need to pretend with one another<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open and honest right down to our core<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Treating me as had my very own mother.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You always had time to spend with me<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Never possibly could there ever be again<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even when the miles separated us apart<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My gentle, loving, kind beautiful friend<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remembering our good times together in past<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Memories together will always bring a smile<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the love of a true friend I truly cherish,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though we must part, it is but for a little while<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
