SYMBOLIC WASHING AWAY OUR SINS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACTS 22:16   And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MATTHEW 28:19   Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MARK 16:15-16   15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MATTHEW 3:13,16   13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. 16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 PETER 2:21   For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACTS 8:38   And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ROMANS 6:1-6   1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
