I know that there is a better life after this and try to keep that thought in my mind. I am in poor physical health at the age of 77 and try to remember how blessed I am knowing things could and may be more difficult in the future. This may seem like a negative way of thinking. But I see it as reality of life. I am thankful for every day of life and know any day could be my last.

Having been in health care as a RN has given me insight on just how blessed I am to be in my own home for now, walk at all with a walker, get to the bathroom without assistance, eat what I choose rather than what a “nursing home” sits in front of me, go to bed and get up as I choose, have my own bedroom. The list of blessings is endless… I know that God is in control. And I just have to believe God is watching over me, and I do. When fear creeps into my heart I tell my heart “God is in charge”. And I quote the Bible passage:” Lord I believe, please help my unbelief”. And God does. My life could change however in a “heartbeat”. All of ours could.
