WAITING IS ALMOST OVER

2 THESSALONIANS 3:5  And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

2 PETER 3:9  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

HEBREWS 10:36-37  36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. 37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

1 THESSALONIANS 1:10  … wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

COLOSSIANS 3:4  When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

REVELATION 22:20  He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

2 CORINTHIANS 4:7,9,10,18  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 THESSALONIANS 2:1-7  1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

SERVE GOD GRACEFULLY

HEBREWS 12:28  Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

ISAIAH 51:10  Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?

1 THESSALONIANS 5:2-3  1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

SING PRAISES TO THE LORD

PSALMS 96:2  Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

GOD LOVES YOU

REVELATION 7:16  They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

THINK ON THESE THINGS

PHILIPPIANS 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

COLOSSIANS 3:16-17  16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
